1 - Google is testing a new AI-first homepage
Google is trying out a new homepage. It swaps out the Google Search button for three new buttons: Create images, Ask about files, and Brainstorm. Some people who are not signed in can see this on their computer. The "I'm Feeling Lucky" button is still there too.
AI Mode, Ask about files, and Brainstorm all work even if you don't have an account.
Create images needs you to sign in first.
The new buttons go away once you sign in, but come back if you sign out again.
Google has not said if this change is real yet. The AI Mode button and file upload menu were already there before.
The big new thing is that the search button got pushed to the side.
