We all hate em–dashes. But no matter what we do, they always show up in chatGPT’s conversations. But I got a trick for you.

You can train ChatGPT to never use them:
1 - Login to chatGPT and go to your settings
2 - Now Click on "Personalization" in the menu
3 - Turn on "Customization" at the very top
4 - Go to "Custom Instructions" and use this

"Systematically replace em-dashes (“—”) with a dot (”.”) to start a new sentence, or a comma (”,”) to continue the sentence."
