hi there.. hope you are well 🙂
1 - Claude is saying NO to Ads!
Anthropic shared news in a blog that Claude will stay free from ads. They also criticized OpenAI during a very big event.
Key Points:
The company promised that Claude users won't see any ads or paid links when they chat, and the chatbot won't suggest products that companies pay for.
Anthropic said that because people share personal things with Claude, showing ads would feel wrong and out of place.
The company made a Super Bowl TV ad that makes fun of other AI companies for showing ads. They don't say "ChatGPT" in the ad, but everyone knows who they mean.
We don't know how much Anthropic paid for the Super Bowl ad, but news reports say one 30-second ad costs about $8 million.
There are also whispers that Anthropic might release Claude Sonnet 5 next week, but the company hasn't said yes or no yet.
